Why Biodynamic massage therapy?

Biodynamic massage therapy is a kind approach to healing and development. Based in body psychotherapy, I work towards the client’s integration by bringing the client into relationship with his or her body. My role is guide and facilitator, I do not diagnose or prescribe. The work is powerful, yet gentle and respectful. The pace will never be faster than is comfortable for the client.

I recommend sessions are booked in blocks of six to eight, and I take time with the client to review progress at the end of each block.

My work is to hold a space for the client to embark on a process of self discovery, healing and transformation. Over time, in the safe setting of the therapy room, I aim to build a relationship of trust where the client is free to be themselves and to feel. From here, we find growth and healing comes to us.

The sessions are all about you.

Acceptance and exploration are key to this work. Communication and feedback are key to building the therapeutic relationship. Each massage is tailored to the client, and each session is unique.

The massage can be relaxing, invigorating or even challenging, depending on your own personal needs.

If you feel that biodynamic massage is right for you please get in touch and we can arrange an initial consultation.
